Welcome to GoKleen+! We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to join our platform as a cleaner with full flexibility at your own arrangement. Before you can begin using our platform, you must agree to the following Terms of Use:

  1. Eligibility

    By joining our platform as a cleaner, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are legally eligible to work in Malaysia.

  2. Background Check

    You agree to undergo a background check with charges, which may include a criminal background check and health check to verify your eligibility to work on our platform.

  3. Code of Ethics

    As a cleaner on our cleaning service platform, we expect you to adhere to the following code of ethics: .

    1. Professionalism: You are expected to maintain a professional demeanor at all times while providing cleaning services on behalf of our platform. This includes dressing in uniform for the job, being punctual, and communicating clearly and respectfully with customers.
    2. Honesty: You are expected to be honest and transparent in all of your dealings with customers, including providing accurate information about your qualifications, experience, and availability.
    3. Confidentiality: You are expected to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of customers' homes and personal information. You should not share any personal or sensitive information about customers with anyone else.
    4. Respect: You are expected to treat customers, their homes, and their belongings with respect at all times. You should not damage or misuse any property, and should report any damage or issues to the customer immediately.
    5. Safety: You are expected to follow all safety guidelines and precautions while performing cleaning services, including using proper cleaning products and equipment, and reporting any potential hazards to the customer.
    6. Quality: You are expected to provide high-quality cleaning services, and to take pride in your work. You should ensure that you are meeting customers' expectations and requirements and should take corrective action if necessary.
    7. Accountability: You are expected to take responsibility for your actions while providing cleaning services on behalf of our platform, and to accept constructive feedback to improve your performance.

    By following this code of ethics, you will help to ensure a positive and professional experience for our customers, and will uphold the values of our cleaning service platform.

  4. Training & Certification

    Before you are allowed to accept work on GoKleen+ cleaning service platform, you will be required to complete a comprehensive training and certification program. The training will be provided by our registered agents, and a training fee will be charged. Here is the structure GoKleen+ training and certification process:

    1. Orientation: All new cleaners attend an orientation session that introduces them to our platform, our values, and our policies and procedures.
    2. Safety training: Cleaners are trained in the proper handling and use of cleaning products and equipment, as well as in general safety practices and protocols.
    3. Cleaning techniques: Cleaners are trained in the latest cleaning techniques and best practices, including how to clean different types of surfaces and materials.
    4. Customer service: Cleaners are trained in how to provide excellent customer service, including communication skills, problem-solving, and how to handle customer complaints or feedback.
    5. Certification: Once the training is complete, cleaners must pass a certification exam to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
    6. Ongoing training: We also provide ongoing training and support to our cleaners to ensure that they are staying up-to date with the latest cleaning techniques and customer service practices.

    By providing comprehensive training and certification, all cleaners on GoKleen+ platform are fully prepared to provide high-quality cleaning services and uphold the standards of our cleaning service platform.

  5. Work Requirements

    You agree to provide cleaning services to customers in accordance with our platform's policies and procedures. This includes completing jobs within the designated time frame and providing high-quality cleaning services.

    As a cleaner on our platform, please be aware that your performance will be reviewed by customers upon completion of each service. Customers have the opportunity to provide feedback and rate your cleaning performance. This feedback plays an important role in maintaining our service quality and reputation.

    In addition to customer reviews, you may also be subjected to on work inspections conducted by our agents. These inspections are meant to ensure that you are consistently meeting our high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

  6. Work Schedule

    GoKleen+ is designed upon the understanding that many cleaners have busy and unpredictable schedules, which is why GoKleen+ offers a flexible work schedule through our cleaning service platform.

    1. Scheduling: Cleaners can log in to our platform and indicate their availability for the upcoming schedule. Cleaners can select specific days and sessions that they are available to work up to 6 months.
    2. Job assignments: Our platform then matches available cleaning jobs with cleaners who are available during the desired time slots.
    3. Communication: Our platform provides communication tools that allow cleaners to communicate with customers 1 hour before the cleaning service and with our support team as needed. (KIV Module)

    Overall, our goal is to provide maximum flexibility to our cleaners, allowing them to work when they are available and providing them with a steady stream of cleaning jobs that fit their schedules.

    This makes it easier for cleaners to balance work and other commitments and helps to ensure that we are always able to provide high-quality cleaning services to our customers.

  7. Attendance to Service Appointment

    To justify cleaner attendance to service session that is allocated, you will be monitored through:

    1. Appointment confirmation: GoKleen+ service platform will send an appointment confirmation message to the cleaner and the customer to confirm the date, time, and location of the cleaning service. This can help ensure that both the cleaner and the customer are aware of the scheduled cleaning service and can plan their schedule accordingly.
    2. Reminder messages: GoKleen+ service platform will send reminder messages to the cleaner and the customer a day or a few hours before the scheduled cleaning service to confirm attendance. This can help reduce the likelihood of no-shows and ensure that the cleaner is prepared to show up at the scheduled time.
    3. Penalty system: GoKleen+ service platform implements a penalty system for cleaners who do not show up for a scheduled cleaning service without a valid reason and/or unsatisfactory cleaning performance. This can include but not limited to reducing the cleaner's tiering, decreasing the number of jobs receive, or even removing from the platform entirely.

    Attendance Check system: cleaner will be able to check in and check out themselves through GoKleen+ service platform and verified by customers.

  8. Adjustment & Cancellation to Confirmed Service Appointment

    If a cleaner cannot make it to a confirmed service appointment, you are obliged to adjust the appointment:

    1. Notify the customer: The cleaner should notify the customer as soon as possible and provide a reason for the cancellation.
    2. Offer alternative dates/times: The GoKleen+ service platform should offer alternative dates and/or sessions for the service appointment if possible.
    3. Assign a new cleaner: If the original cleaner cannot make it to the appointment, the GoKleen+ service platform can assign a new cleaner to the job.
    4. Follow up: After the adjustment has been made, GoKleen+ service platform would follow up with both the customer and the cleaner to confirm that the new appointment is suitable for both parties.

    However, please note that numbers of service adjustment and cancellations will be reflected in the cleaner’s tiering.

  9. Cleaning Toolkits

    GoKleen+ will have a set of cleaning toolkits for cleaners bring to perform cleaning services including but not limited to as below:

    1. Vacuum cleaner: This is an essential tool for cleaning carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
    2. Mop and bucket: These are used to clean hard floors, such as tile or hardwood.
    3. Cleaning cloths: There will be variety of cleaning cloths, including microfiber cloths for dusting and wiping down surfaces, and sponges or scrubbers for tackling tough grime and stains.
    4. Cleaning solutions: Special formulated cleaning solutions, including all-purpose cleaners, glass cleaners, and disinfectants, depending on the specific cleaning needs of the job.
    5. Cleaning tools: Various cleaning tools, including foldable stool, scrub brushes, dusters, and dustpans and brushes, to help them clean hard-to-reach areas.
    6. Personal protective equipment: Such as gloves or masks, to protect from exposure to cleaning chemicals or other hazards.

    Overall, cleaners will typically bring all of the tools and supplies needed to perform the specific cleaning services requested by the customer, to provide a thorough and efficient cleaning experience.

  10. Refundable Deposit

    Cleaner will be required for a refundable deposit for the cleaning toolkits provided by GoKleen+. Cleaners are obliged to take good care of the tools while they are in their possession.

    GoKleen+ will release a full refund if cleaner returns the tools in good condition. However, if the tools are damaged or lost, GoKleen+ may withhold a portion of the deposit to cover the cost of repair or replacement.

  11. Payment

    You agree to the payment structure set forth by the platform, including the amount of payout you will receive for each job and the frequency of payments.

  12. Payout

    Commission
    The commission is typically the percentage of the total cleaning fee charged to the customer that the platform retains as a fee for connecting the customer with the cleaner.

    Review Commission
    A review rating of 4.0 and above will be granted commission after a cleaning service is completed during which the customer can submit a review of the service.

    Tiering Bonus
    Work tiering will be classified by experience, number of services done, average performance review and other factors. Three tiers of cleaners: beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Intermediate and advanced will have additional tiering bonus on every service performed.

    Referral Bonus
    Any referred cleaner that is successfully activated to perform 3 cleaning services will be rewarded with a referral bonus to the referee.

  13. Transportation

    Cleaner is responsible to arrange own transportation to and from the customer’s house. However, to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the cleaning service and promote sustainability. Some GoKleen+ agents may provide carpooling transportation service at a friendly charge. For carpooling service, a cleaner will be required to standby earlier. Do contact your assigned agent for more information.

  14. Customer Satisfaction

    As a cleaner on our platform, it is important to maintain a high level of performance and customer satisfaction. We have certain performance criteria in place to ensure the quality of service provided to our customers.

    If your average rating drops below 3.5 or if you receive consecutive service ratings below 4.0, your account may be suspend for review purpose. This review may include additional training or coaching sessions to help you improve your skills and enhance customer satisfaction.

  15. Liability and Insurance

    As a cleaner on our platform, we prioritize the safety and well-being of both our cleaners and our customers. While we have subscribed to liability insurance to provide some protection, it is important for cleaners to take personal responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their workplace.

    Cleaners are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and best practices while performing their duties. This includes using appropriate protective equipment, following proper cleaning techniques, and being mindful of potential hazards in the working environment.

    AWhile the company takes measures to provide a safe working environment, cleaners are responsible for ensuring their own safety and taking necessary precautions. This includes being aware of any potential risks, reporting any safety concerns promptly, and taking steps to mitigate hazards whenever possible.

  16. Suspension & Termination

    Your account may be suspend or terminated if you violate any of our platform's policies or procedures, fail to meet performance standards, or engage in any illegal or unethical behavior. GoKleen+ adopt general flow as below before termination will be made:

    1. Identify the issue: The first step is to identify the issue with the cleaner's performance. This could include poor quality of work, negative feedback from customers, or failure to follow platform policies.
    2. Communicate with the cleaner: Once the issue is identified, our registered agent would communicate with the cleaner to inform them of the issue and provide them with an opportunity to improve their performance.
    3. Provide training or coaching: The GoKleen+ service platform may offer training or coaching to the cleaner to help them improve their performance and address the issue.
    4. Review progress: The platform should monitor the cleaner's progress and performance over a period of time to determine if their performance has improved.
    5. Take action: If the cleaner's performance does not improve, the platform may take action, such as terminating the cleaner's account or reducing their access to jobs on the platform.
    6. Inform the cleaner: The platform would inform the cleaner of the decision to terminate their account and provide them with an explanation for the decision.
    7. Inform customers: If necessary, the platform should inform customers who have booked the cleaner's services that their bookings will be canceled due to the termination.

    This helps to maintain the GoKleen+ service platform's standards and reputation, and ensures that GoKleen+ customers receive high quality service.

  17. Intellectual Property & Obligations

    Cleaner should not disclose information on GoKleen+ service platform to anyone outside of the cleaning service platform or the customer without permission. You are to respect the intellectual property rights of GoKleen+ and not engage in any activities that could be considered infringing or harmful to GoKleen+.

    You also agree to grant GoKleen+ platform the right to use any content you create or share on our platform, including photographs or videos of your work.

By joining our platform as a cleaner, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge that failure to comply with these terms may result in termination of your account. We are excited to have you as a part of our team and look forward to providing you with a positive experience on our platform.
